Catholic Charities Maine Behavioral Health Network in Portland has Full or Part Time openings for a Clinical Counselor, Conditional. The Clinical Counselor is the professional person responsible for providing individual, couples and family mental health, addictions and co-occurring individual and group therapy in an office, community or supervisor approved telehealth-based setting.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in a social service related field
- Minimally credentialed at the conditional license level, either as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC-C) or a Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW-C) as defined by the licensing board(s) of the State of Maine.
- Eligibility to obtain the substance use qualifications within the first six months may be considered with appropriate clinical experience – a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), or 60 hours of approved alcohol and drug education and one-year clinical practice in a community-based addictions treatment setting is highly preferred.
