Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department – Public Assembly Facilities Division

– 40 hours/week (varied schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays) –

Duties include event set-up prior to events, necessary assistance during events that includes placing and moving chairs, mats, risers and stage sections, sound and light equipment and sports equipment, clean-up immediately following the event that includes moving and/or removing all items and equipment that was used during the event and routine cleaning of facility prior to and following each event.  Duties also include performing routine facility maintenance as necessary and routine exterior maintenance, including snow removal.

Requirements:  Ability to lift and move heavy objects over an extended period of time; working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; ability to meet and deal courteously with the public; physical strength and agility necessary to perform the essential functions of the work.  Must possess valid Class C driver’s license in good standing, and a reliable vehicle for work-use when applicable.  Prior customer service experience desired.  Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.

Pay range starting at $732.31/week.
