CLINICAL HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER
Health and Human Services Department – Public Health Division
– Full-Time (37.5 hours/week), Permanent position – Seeking a qualified individual who is passionate about mission-driven work to manage our clinical programs within the Public Health Department at 39 Forest Avenue. This opportunity consists of overseeing the Maternal and Child Health Nursing Program, STD clinic, Immunization program and the Portland Community Free Clinic. Clinical awareness and/or skills, service planning, program development, grant writing, program evaluation, and budget management skills are necessary. Strong team coaching skills are required. Our ideal candidate will be dedicated to ensuring the health-related needs of vulnerable populations living in and around Portland are met. This position is an integral senior team member of the Public Health Department. Our ideal candidate will also have a commitment to and experience in health equity, community dimensions of practice, public health sciences and leadership/system thinking. Master’s degree in public health, health management, clinical health or a related field is preferred but we will consider candidates with any combination of experience and training that provides the requisite skills. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.
Non-Union position – Grade C51 – Salary range begins at $37.49/hour.
