Maine Public is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to work with our Leadership Gifts team and the President in support of philanthropic giving. The Executive Assistant will provide high level administrative support, maintain confidential records, schedule and prepare meetings and events, produce mailings and gift acknowledgment letters, coordinate gift processing, and administratively support all fundraising, campaign, and development efforts. The successful candidate must thrive in a professional and dynamic environment, work well both in a team environment and independently, and demonstrate a love of public broadcasting.
Job Requirements: A minimum of three years of administrative support experience in a non-profit setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Integrity, good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, database experience, excellent communication and organizational skills. A working knowledge of Leadership Gift fundraising is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.
COVID-19 Impact: Maine Public continues to monitor the COVID-19 crisis and has implemented organizational policies and protocols specifically addressing increased protective measures. As employees in a critical infrastructure industry, we have an important responsibility to continue our essential work. However due to the COVID-19 pandemic many of our teams have shifted to working remotely from home; the Executive Assistant will work out of our Lewiston location 1-2 days a week.
