Duties:

• Developing strategy and planning to address business opportunities
• Managing development projects and specifications with customers
• Delivering a differentiated product offering to support new customer applications
• Negotiating project requirements that can be produced profitably
• Coordinating and directing projects and the integration of technical activities
• Analyzing technology requirements, resource needs, and schedules to plan and execute projects/programs
• Supervising the proposal, quotation, bids, and contracts process
• Writing proposals to secure new business or funding
• Managing the development and implementation of standards, specifications, and procedures
• Performing budget and expenditure approvals and proposals
• Preparing marketing and technical presentations for customer meetings
• Documenting program and project status

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in application engineering, technical sales, or development work
• Cross-functional management experience
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and customer service skills
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work as a team as well as independently
