Duties:

• Acting as primary contact with sales, manufacturing, and logistics to develop plans to achieve customer needs
• Reviewing inventory of raw materials and reordering as needed
• Maintaining and coordinating the master production schedule and reviewing to adjust as needed
• Leading weekly production planning meetings
• Reviewing monthly marketing forecasts and adjusting schedule accordingly
• Overseeing the logistics functions to contain cost and provide customer delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or materials management
• 5 years’ experience in manufacturing scheduling and production planning
• Extensive hands-on experience with a computerized production planning system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think critically and analyze situations to react in a timely manner
