Join our growing team at Southern Maine Agency on Aging!  We are seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Executive Assistant!  This is an exciting role for someone who loves efficiency in day-to-day management, thrives on deadlines, is a natural project manager, and enjoys working with others. The Executive Assistant will assist the Chief Executive Officer in ensuring that the Agency is running smoothly and will also ensure that the high expectations for internal and external customer service are being met. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and also works closely with the Board of Directors, the Advisory Council, and the greater staff team. The successful candidate will be extremely detail-oriented, and enjoy multi-tasking and working directly with staff, donors, and volunteers.

Candidate should be comfortable working remotely but also be able to report to our Biddeford, Maine office 2 – 3 times a week

Qualifications: 

Post-secondary education or the equivalent in education and related work experience is preferred.
At least five+ years of high-level administrative experience in a business office is required.
Strong attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain strong relationships with donors, community partners, staff, Board members, and other Agency volunteers.
Exceptional skills in the areas of organization, attention to detail, time management, ability to manage multiple tasks, define and set priorities and problem solve.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Excellent reading, writing, and grammar skills. Both written and verbal.
Excellent skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Demonstrated team player with a strong collaboration ability.
Ability to take initiative with projects and work independently
