Jennifer Ogden

Co-Chair

Jennifer Ogden serves as Co-Chair of the Diversity Hiring Coalition, where she leads statewide efforts to advance inclusive and equitable hiring practices across Maine. In this role, she champions systemic change by partnering with employers, policymakers, and community leaders to create more accessible pathways to employment for underrepresented populations.

Jennifer also serves as Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development at Evernorth, representing the Northern New England region. In this executive leadership position, she oversees all aspects of HR strategy and operations—developing compliant policies, advancing talent management initiatives, and fostering a resilient, values-driven organizational culture. She works closely with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to align people strategies with Evernorth’s mission and long-term growth.

With more than 20 years of experience across both public and private sectors, Jennifer has led human resources initiatives in industries including manufacturing, affordable housing, transportation, government, and education. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She holds a bachelor’s degree in professional writing from the New York Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in human resources management and labor Relations from Ellis University.

Outside of her professional roles, Jennifer is a proud mother of three who embraces an active lifestyle. She enjoys coaching youth sports, snowboarding, running, and has completed several Tough Mudder races—always in pursuit of her next outdoor adventure.
